Savoy Cabbage & Potato Soup

A winter-warming soup recipe for your slow cooker.

  1. Set aside the bacon or leftover meat and a few shredded leaves from the Savoy for frying later. Add the rest of the ingredients to the slow cooker.
  2. Set to high and leave until all the ingredients are tender. Some slow cookers have different settings so consult your manual and use the setting recommended for soup.
  3. Just before serving, fry up the cabbage leaves with the bacon or leftover meat. Serve the soup with a spoonful of the crispy mixture on the top!
