We keep a mix of breeds of ducks on the farm that could only be described as ‘farmyard’ ducks.
They range freely over the whole farm whether we like it or not, including laying eggs in Beth’s garden and poly tunnels if the opportunity arises.
We use the ducks for producing meat birds for the boxes and eggs too, but they also come in handy eating all the slugs and snails around the farm ditches not to mention the cheer they bring when you see them rushing from one place to the next in a long line!
