No churn ice-cream

This is my go to family party catering ice-cream. It’s so simple and quick to make!

  1. Whip the egg whites in a very clean bowl until they form soft peaks, like for meringues, then slowly beat in the sugar a little at a time. Put aside.
  2. Whip up the double cream until thick.
  3. Beat the egg yolks then, together with the vanilla, thoroughly combine with the double cream.
  4. Fold in the meringue mixture. Put into airtight containers and freeze immediately.
