Beetroot Loaf

This loaf is quick and easy to make. Great sliced and spread with butter!

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, grated nutmeg and mixed spice into a large basin.
  2. Add the beetroot.
  3. Mix the sugar, eggs and oil together and mix this into the flour and beetroot mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into two greased 1lb loaf tins and bake at 175C for 40 minutes.
